DENISE BETESH uses matte 22 karat gold and the ancient Etruscan technique of granulation to lend her jewelry a warm, antique quality. By selecting simple design elements and extraordinary gems, Denise creates “heirlooms to be worn everyday” - current yet classic, traditional yet innovative. Raised in New York, Denise was awarded design work as a teenager by Cartier jeweler Aldo Cippallo, who had seen a wedding band she had made for her grandmother. Encouraged by this support, Denise pursued her career at the Boston Museum of Arts and the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York.
